Will Bowler
I am a commentator looking to hopefully realise my childhood dream of reaching the racecourse commentators rota. In my quest for that, I am building up my experience with a number of harness racing (an array of fixtures through the past three summers), pony racing (Haydock and Beverley for the past three years) and point to points, which I have travelled far and wide to commentate on (Friars Haugh and Dalston in the North down to Godstone in the South East!). Based in Derby in the Midlands, I would be happy to travel to any meeting to commentate as I believe that "live" practice is absolutely imperative to learn and progress into becoming a better commentator.
I am also Raceday Presenter at Southwell Racecourse at every meeting, which allows me to create many contacts and hopefully show them my passion for all things racing related.
If any secretaries are interested, please feel free to contact me via email at will.bowler@hotmail.co.uk or call 07971 760730.

I was delighted to expand significantly my point-to-point commentary portfolio in the 2017-18 season, adding tracks such as Barbury (PPORA meeting commentator), Didmarton, Garthorpe and Larkhill to existing commentaries at Mollington and Siddington. I was also due to call the cancelled Hutton Rudby fixture in 2018. On the back of this, I hope to further my live commentary repertoire with new meetings in 2019, with the aspiration to commentate professionally on racecourses.
I have also gained prominence as a harness racing commentator; over the last couple of years I have called the action at some of the sport's top venues including York, Tir Prince, Aberystwyth (British American Drivers' Challenge), Carlisle (Cumberland Show Handicap), Wolsingham and Binchester.
In May, I was thrilled to describe the action and conduct interviews at the Pony Club raceday at Haydock Park, my local racecourse.
36 years old, a graduate of the University of Leeds, a lifelong racing fan; I've been a dedicated racereader for over 15 years, having visited every racecourse in the UK in 2012 as well as an experienced public speaker, renowned for articulate delivery and diction.
I have a deep knowledge of the sport and am thorough and proactive in establishing myself as a commentator, currently shadowing and liaising with current RaceTech commentators at Thoroughbred, Point-to-Point and Harness race meetings.
Located within 3 hours of most Point-to-Point racecourses, I am happy to travel across the country and at short notice if possible.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch via email or Twitter if you would like to contact me or listen to some sample work.

Jonathan Doidge
Professional TV/radio commentator and presenter
I have 20 years of experience commentating on radio, television and online, either 'live' at sporting venues or off-tube. Those I work for include Sky Sports News, Premier Sports, William Hill Betting TV, Radio Yorkshire and Jockey Club Racecourses. I have previously commentated on hundreds of horse races from tracks such as Wetherby, York and Doncaster for: TEAMtalk/365 Media; Betfred; BBC Radio Leeds & BBC Radio York.
I have also been presenter/reporter for Sky's Sportslive Radio show from many race meetings, including the Cheltenham Festival, the Grand National and the Derby and presented countless hours of racing radio. I have also called thousands of greyhound races, plus a number of other sports for radio or TV. My overriding passion is being 'live' at the event and calling races involving horses, and since childhood I have loved National Hunt racing.
I am Leeds-based but happy to travel anywhere for the opportunity to call so please don't hesitate to get in touch and, even if at short notice, I will do my best to accommodate you.
I am already a raceday presenter/announcer at point to points, such as Sheriff Hutton, the Badsworth & Bramham Moor and the Pendle Forest & Craven. My website www.jonathandoidge.com provides showreels of some of my work, plus some commentary clips.
I can also be contacted on 07719 855827 or by e-mail on jd@jonathandoidge.com and jonathandoidge@hotmail.com. Please don't hesitate to get in touch, even if at short notice.

I'm 19 years old and have finished studying A levels at a sixth form college which were Media (Distinction *), EPQ (A), photography (B) and geography (C). Since an early age my main interest has been in horse racing with a career aim to be a racing commentator. I am very grateful to all the commentators I have met who all have been very helpful in advice by allowing me to gain the live experience commentating in the spare boxes. I have met Simon Holt, Richard Hoiles, John Hunt, Tim Peters, Mike Cattermole, Tony Ennis, Gareth Topham and Ian Bartlett so far.
At college I regularly contributed to the online newspaper called The Vine where I wrote articles based on horse racing. Also, I presented a radio show on the radio station at the college called "The Commentary Box" where I presented all the latest news and developments in the sporting world.
With the kind help of Nicholas Child, I had the opportunity of my first live point to point call at the Charlton Horethorne point to point in March 2019 in the hunt race won my Robin De Boss. On the same day I also called the first pony race on the card.
I drive and have taken extra training tuition with the pass plus course in the summer 2018.
For examples I do have a collection of work on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/commentator_kylem/
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions or get in contact.

"Point-To-Point commentator since 2006 and Racecourse commentator since 2012. I have called races all over the UK for many years both between the flags and on the racecourses, including on some of the most prestigious days and Hunter Chase nights. Travel is no issue - I am based in West Yorkshire but have worked in all four corners of the country.
If you need a caller for the forthcoming season I'd be delighted if you got in touch to discuss things further.
My email is gareth.topham@aol.co.uk or alternatively try my mobile on 07840 738333.
