Monmouthshire
Llanvapley
Wednesday 14th April 2010
by Brian Lee

The rearranged Monmouthshire Hunt Point-To-Point Steeplechases will take place over the popular Llanvapley racecourse near Abergavenny next Wednesday (First Race 3.30).

There are 126 entries and of the 14 down to run in the ladies' open race, prolific winners Cannon Bridge and Chesnut Annie head the field.Others of note include Grey Kid and Tragic Realm.

Chesnut Annie, who recently chalked-up her 20th win between-the-flags at the South Pembrokeshire, could return to hunter chasing leaving the way clear for Cannon Bridge to add to his tally of wins.

There are 20 entries for the men's open race and these include Mick's Prospect, Silver Story and King's Euro.
