Tweseldown stages the third and final meeting of its point-to-point season on Sunday 10 February.

More than 140 horses have been entered at the popular circuit near Aldershot and, with a possible division on the day of the Maiden, there could be eight races.

Whereareyounow, who made all the running to win here in December, should repeat his success as his sternest rival, Irilut, is heading for Larkhill on Saturday. Local trainer Victoria Collins also runs Dr. Flight in the Maiden, while Watership Down, winner of two Open races last seasobn, makes his seasonal debut in the Ladies.

Leading local jockey, Philip York, will have a busy day with three, possibly four, rides if the Maiden divides. Philip’s five winners this season puts him in a close third position on the national leaderboard, and he will hope to improve on that with Caramill Gift, Peppershot and Mountain Dreams.

The latter runs in the Maiden and should tht race split, Philip would also partner Thyne’s Optimist in the second division.

Cars are charged at £10 to include the driver and £5 for adult passengers.

First race is at 12.00 noon and good going is anticipated.
