GALLOPING GRANDAD
Grandfather David Robinson makes his riding comeback at Godstone Point-To-Point on Sunday. The 66-year-old beef farmer from Rodmell, near Lewes, is the oldest jockey licensed to ride in Britain and will be on board Bee An Bee in the Members' race where he faces a maximum of five opponents. Amongst them is Splash And Dash, controversially disqualified at Detling two weeks ago.

Official going is currently Good to Soft, with prospects of drying weather towards the weekend.

Heather Kemp runs Nathos, a faller at Detling when going well, and Stromness in the Ladies', where Carryonharry's seasonal return is eagerly awaited. Marcus Gorman runs Old Kilminchy in the Men's Open and Merry Vic in the Intermediate.

The meeting kicks off with two pony races starting at 11.00am. Admission is £20 per car, £5 on foot, with concessions at the gate on car occupancy.
