SEVEN races make up the card for the North Cornwall point-point at Wadebridge this Saturday where a high noon showdown is in prospect between Sea Snipe and Tsar’s Twist in the opening Hunt race.
Sea Snipe is also engaged in the Men’s Open where Talikos would be of interest and Dante’s Back, Concert Pianist and Happy Shopper also hold sound claims.
The Ladies’ Open features the recent Hobbs winner Croix de Guerre, but Colin and Karyn Heard’s course winner Innocent Rebel is also nominated, along with other decent Ladies’ horses Let’s Fly, Tsar’s Twist and Doof.
The Heard stable had a treble at the earlier Wadebridge meeting, and their useful Unusual Suspect could be the bet in the Confined.
River Heights represents the Heard yard in the Restricted and has most to fear from Wee Fly and Ballybrown.
The 26 entries in the Maiden include Noeud Vert who has a chance to atone for an unlucky exit at Chipley Park last weekend.
The Wadebridge track is on the Royal Cornwall Showground on the A39, 1 mile west of the town. Entrance costs £10 per car and driver plus £5 for each additional passenger and the first race is off at noon.
