A STUNNING DAY'S sport at Penshurst on Saturday (26th April) saw BEE AN BEE
assert his superiority in the Men's Open, beating HONOURABLE SPIDER by a
distance and going clear in the title race for leading horse. His rider Stuart
Robinson also moved further ahead in the Area jockeys' championship as he
steered his father David's horse to its fifth win of the season.

Di Grissell trained two winners - GLORY TRAIL and NO REWARD - and the Maiden went to Pete Bull on LAGUNA BEACH.
It was a day of mixed fortunes for Nick Pearce, still in contention for the title: he won on Simon Tindall's JACK'S PRESENT but incurred the wrath of the stewards and a £150 fine for jumping the "legless" Sheriff's Friend over the last fence to finish third.
Anna Samson, enjoying her best season, won the opener on EXODOUS for Annie Blaker.
