See Me Soon
26/04/2008
United Pack at Brampton Bryan
by The Walker
This 5yo made his debut at Bitterley in a good maiden won by Eco Style. He was travelling well in mid division before blundering away his chance at the 6th and 7th and was pulled up before the next. Next time out at Brampton Bryan he jumped better and travelled like a decent horse until 4 out before lack of condition began to tell and he was nursed home to finish 4th beaten around 20 lengths. The form of the race was nothing special but See Me Soon has the scope to be able to pick up a maiden next season when he has strengthened up. It was also interesting that Richard Burton was booked to ride at Bitterley but was unavailable on the day.
Silk Parasol

CLEVELAND AT MORDON
by RedStar
Fell at last at Mordon when upsides Lord Gee and many felt that she would've won. Jumps well for Kelly Bryson.
Abbey St Bathans
12/04/2008
PYTCHLEY AT GUILSBOROUGH
by Dom
This well related 6yo mare made an eyecatching debut here. Green and nursed round at the back by Stuart Morris, she made stealthy later ground without ever looking to trouble the winner. Looks a maiden certainty.
Rockwithacaveman
by SarahJG
In respect of horse that I have noticed this year, everytime it has run but especially at the Lamerton meeting at Kilworthy. The horse just goes from strength to strength. Watch this space.
Qollioure
06/04/2008
MIDDLETON AT WHITWELL-ON-THE-HILL
by Dom
A good looking 4yo french bred gelding, he was travelling nicely, sitting just behind the leader when unluckily brought down. Whether he would had beaten the impressive winner (Flaco) is debatable, but from a yard that knows the time of day and looks a nice prospect
Broxparisboulevard
22/03/2008
VALE OF LUNE AT WHITTINGTON
by John Bulman
Broxparisboulevard caught the eye when running in the Vale Of Lune Maiden over the Easter weekend. Despite finishing last of 4 finishers this 5 year old was on the premises two out and was certainly not knocked about by Tom Oates once his chance had gone. He looks to have plenty of scope for improvement & I expect he can do better in due course as he will have learned a lot from this outing.
The Lumberjack
27/01/2008
MIDLANDS AREA CLUB AT THORPE LODGE
by Dom
This well built son of Moonax caught the eye, staying on at the death to take third place in what looked a decent maiden.
Should have little problem landing a maiden on a staying track.
Silver Tenor
27/01/2008
MIDLANDS AREA CLUB AT THORPE LODGE
by Dom
Also making his debut, this athletic son of Silver Patriarch out of the profile NH mare Opera Hat, was another to catch the eye. Jumping economically throughout, he looked booked for third place until he was overhauled by The Lumberjack on the run-in. The horses from the Campbell yard usually come on for their first run and he should be in the money soon.
Pristine Condition
19/01/2008
YORKSHIRE P2P CLUB AT SHERIFF HUTTON
by Dom
This previously unraced 6-year-old by Tamure made a cracking debut. Never in contention, he finished just behind three vastly experienced rivals with previous winners behind him.
Hails from a top yard
and will no doubt be mighty short in the betting ring when reappearing, he looks nailed on for success.
2007
KEEP HIM KEEN
09/04/2007
TAUNTON VALE HARRIERS AT KINGSTON ST MARY
by Miss Robson, Somerset
Saw a lovely big grey horse run at Kingston St Mary. Keep Him Keen, a 6 yr old, had a quiet introductory at Charlton Horethorne with the very talented Josh Guerriero on board. This time at Kingston, young Sam Alwood took the reins. The horse was 3rd of 3 runners, wasn't given a hard time, jumped well from fence to fence and looks sure to improve. He is a big backward sort but definitely one to watch when re-appearing either this season or next.
WORSHIP THE STARS
&
THE HUMBEL BUTLER
18/03/2007
ROSS HARRIERS AT GARNONS
by The Walker
The Confined Maiden, the last race on the card over 2m4f, was run at a modest gallop for most of the race but the two horses that filled the minor places should be noted for future.
Worship The Stars trained by Maz Scudamore and The Humbel Butler trained by the Wilesmith's were both making their racecourse debuts. They were both schooled in the rear throughout and were never put in the race to make a challenge but finished full of running up the tough uphill straight and would not have known they had been in a race. They should both be followed next time out when a more positive approach will be adopted.
